Pros: sturdy
Cons: fiddly to attach and detach, doesn't feel super safe.

I purchased this specifically to take photos of mushrooms without setting my camera in the dirt. It works great for that. It is sturdy, the legs stay where you put them, and it supports a K-3 with a 100mm macro lens if you don't accidentally put it on backwards. It feels less tippy with a shorter lens though. It is also incredibly small when folded up, I can't imagine a situation where it would be difficult to bring along with you.

I do think this has a lot of areas where it could be improved.

The main one is, there is no flip down grip or anything on the screw that attaches it to the camera, so you need something that can fit into the screw to tighten it securely. It can be tightened by hand but it will come loose easily.

It is also possible to thread the screw through the tripod while removing it and have it fall on the ground and get lost, but you'll only do that once - either because you won't find the screw or because you'll avoid the slightly wider part of the slot while removing it from the camera after spending 10 minutes looking for a tiny screw.

One other complaint - it doesn't inspire a lot of trust. I'd totally set my camera on this thing on the ground, but if it is on a railing, near the edge of a table, or anywhere else that isn't the ground, I don't trust it enough to take off the wrist strap. So - not a selfie tripod for me unless I need a worm's eye view photo of myself.

So, summary - great option if you want to set your camera on things and take pictures, could be better.

An example of the kind of thing I use this for:
