Wanted one of these for a long time, so I could make photos of microscopic botanical objects. Used it a few times now, and I must say that it is very easy to use. As said before: the silver part joins the microscope, the black part the camera, and then they're joint together. Don't forget to use the microscopes eye-lens (oculair)!
Here a photo made with this adapter. It's a leaf cross section of fine sheep fescue, a grass. Magnification 7x9.
