Latest Review Posted | Domke F3X I was trying to remember how long I've had my Domke F3X, but couldn't recall exactly when I got it. It has to have been 25-30 years ago. During that time, it's been my main walk-about bag and is still going strong today. In fact, I took it on a video shoot just yesterday. I wore the rubber coating off the strap after a decade or two of use so I added a postman's pad to help keep the strap on my shoulder. Other than that, the darn bag barely shows any use. This thing is just tough as nails. It's not the most protective case due to being mostly made out of canvas, but that flexibility is also what makes it easy to carry and fast to use. The way I use my Domke is as a situational bag. If I'm going on a trip, I'll transport my gear in bigger, more padded bags, but when I arrive at my destination and get ready to shoot, I'll take just those lenses that I anticipate using, load them into the Domke, and head out to my location. |
