I have never been one to like neck or slider straps of any kind for my equipment. I have used hand straps for years, Unfortunately, every strap I had owned to date had one issue or another that made it less than ideal. The design of this strap allows for the easiest access to controls of any I've ever used and because of its rigid shape, it slips on and off quickly and easily. When on, I feel extremely secure about my equipement and there is a included, additional wrist strap, that just snaps on if you expect to be in demanding situations like crowds.
There are no special lugs, rings or plates required to install this product and it works equally well with or without a power grip. Mine is installed under my arca style plate.
This is not a cheap solution at $65.00, but well designed, quality hardware is usually worth it.
