Pros: Toughness, lightness, crushability
Cons: A little fiddly to put on

D-midsize covers the K-3II plus 20-40, or 10-17, or even the PLM55-300 in retracted position due to the flexibility of the neoprene. Snaps are well-positioned and close securely. There's a thin strap for I guess hanging the case off a belt or similar when not in use but I don't use it, as for normal camera use, I remove the case completely and scrunch it into a leg cargo pocket, easy. The camera and lens are nice and snug, and well-protected. Definitely recommended.

Pros: compact, always there protection
Cons: snap closure is a bit finnicky

I use my DSLR (first K200D, now K-50) at sea, on fishing and research vessels. Yes, they are both WR bodies but most of my lenses are not and in any event, I don't want them splashed with salt water. The OP/Tech Neoprene soft pouch provides basic protection I can keep on the camera at all times and simply slip off when I want to take a shot. The case accomodates the shoulder strap and simply falls away and dangles below the camera when shooting.

I have the #D-SLR model and it just barely accommodates the K-50 plus Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX Macro which extends about 4 1/4" from the body when fully retracted (including lens cap). There is also enough diameter for a Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM with sun shade stored backwards on the lens (just over 3 1/2" in diameter). You could probably stretch it over a 4" diameter lens.

The only things I don't like are:

1) The case dangles from its thin strap when I pull it off to shoot. It can easily be caught by the wind

2) The closure is via two plastic snaps. They are a bit stiff and it can take two hands, one to pull the flap tight and the second two press the snaps which are rather stiff. To the designer's credit, the snaps are beneath the camera, so pressure exerted to close them goes to the base plate rather than the screen of the camera and they are also unlikely to scratch the screen. In practice, it generally isn't necessary to snap the cover, the way the case comes across the lower corners of the back of the camera keeps it in place quite well.

It is an accessory I would absolutely replace if lost or damaged.

Pros: Neoprene soft pouch, sturdy, good quality,
Cons: None

I selected a D-SLRmid- size that fits my K-7 (or K-01) with an all-around zoom lens (DA18-135 or DA18-250mm). It works nicely, the pouch is strong and it protect will the camera. The pouch is attached to the camera using the tripod screw. The construction quaity is excellent.
Overall I am quite happy with the pouch and its quality. I can recommend it to anyone who is after a neopren soft pouch.
