Description:

I absolutely love OpTech's Hood Hats for my lenses. For convenience, I always leave the hoods on my lenses, making it very difficult to attach/detach the lens caps. These neoprene Hood Hats go over the hoods, eliminating the need for the caps; and gives very good protection from scratches, nicks on the hoods. I also have used their straps on every camera I've owned! The Hood Hats slip on/off easily, and can be folded up to put in a pocket, while camera is in use.

Pros:	easy to use, protects lens well
Cons:	slower to use than a lens cap; only come in certain sizes

I'm one of those guys who leaves my hoods on my lenses at all times. I used to search and search until I could locate a lens cap that fit the end of my lens hood. But many times they were easy to bump and dislodge. Then I discovered Op Tech's Hood Hats. These things are perfect! I use them on a variety of lenses from those for my Q to my 80-200mm f2.8 Tokina for my DSLR. A great product!
