Pros: | Inexpensive, light, nearly identical to LowePro | Cons: | None | | This lens case is the equivalent to my LowePro #2 long lens cases - that are no longer offered by LowePro. It fits my longer, narrow lenses like the 55-300 (easily) and my K300/4 (less easily but it works). In nearly every regard they are functionally identical: Same zippers, interior pocket, attachment points on each side, and velcro closed paddle flap on the back is nearly the same as the SlipLock attachment on the LowePro. The advantages are that this one is still available and it's only $13.
The differences between the two? Few. The LowePro is slightly better padded on the sides while the Onyx has slightly thicker padding on the top and bottom. The LowePro has a tighter fit in seams and closure than the Onxy.
