Pros: Solid, water proof, multiple attachment points
Cons: Solid,

Pelican. Solid, well made, waterproof. I bought this to hold the D-BG4 extra battery tray with 6 AA batteries inserted for use in the field. Along with the grip battery tray, it can also hold 2 extraD-Li90 batteries. Works for that purpose but will also hold small lenses like the 70Ltd. The included D-ring is not climbing quality so it had to be replaced. Another option is it has long slots on each end through which straps can be threaded to attach it securely to a pack.
