Pros: | Adequate cord length, relatively inexpensive | Cons: | Massive, heavy | | If you've got an AF400T (or two, like me) this could be a useful (indoor) accessory. Won't be going in your camera bag, though - it's got about 20 feet of cord, and the adapter must weigh at least two pounds. It's one of the largest adapters I've ever encountered.

Pros: | fast recycling, switchable voltage option | Cons: | none | | i have this AC Adapter when i acquired ring flash AF 08C from ebay. its bulky, came with long cables, and stretch around 5 meters.
At first i notice that this AC adapter is useless in my country, since the input voltage spec marked only for 110 Volt. But when i flipped back the adapter, there is small switch and small screw, and we wonder what it is. .
it Turn out to be, if you want to switch the voltage into 220V or 240 V, you have to loosen the screw and with some screw driver you can slide the voltage option, into the voltage you prefer.
the socket to the flash bodies

Pros: | Super fast recycling | Cons: | Large | | I bought this used for my AF400T. This is the best AC adapter for a flash, ever. It is HV, so recycles are almost instantaneous. It's bulky, (much bigger than this diagram indicates) but it works like an AC adapter should. I wish Pentax made something like this for the newer flashes.
