Pros: | construction, useful | Cons: | nothing | | Useful for double the autonomy of the * istD and to improve the vertical grip use.
I was very lucky in the price.

Pros: | Sturdy build, versatile and useful | Cons: | Slight stiffness to shutter button | | An essential accessory for the *ist D.
As with other grips, the ease in portrait orientation makes this tool well suited to the portrait photographer and well worth every dollar spent on it.
It adds considerably longer lasting power to the camera, and fits flush and perfectly contoured on the *ist D.
It feels solid and strong, and I only found the shutter release button just a touch finnicky compared to the camera body's shutter button.
