Pros: | High quality cable and fittings | Cons: | | | It's just a cable, but the quality is exceptional. Perfect length for connecting a bracket mounted flash.

Pros: | Build quality, just works. | Cons: | | | I use it in combination with hot shoe adapters F and FG on a bracket to change quickly from portrait to landscape orientation in a breeze. It's a really thick, quality cable.

Pros: | Fairly rugged | Cons: | Not inexpensive | | These cables are male to male (pins to pins). Flashes are female, as are the F Adapters. AF-500FTZ flashes (and probably others in the series) have the 5P connector directly wired to the hot shoe, so combinations of 5P Cables and F Adapters can be used to daisy chain flashes. In this configuration, they all can be operated in film camera TTL mode.

Pros: | Useful for flash bracket | Cons: | ties up hot shoe, needs expensive adapter | | I use this cord frequently with a flash bracket. Be sure to get the right adapter for the hot shoe, or you can't use the on-camera flash as fill. It seems to me that the camera should have a sync socket, or the cord should come with the hot shoe adapter. Buying the cord and the adapter is a rather expensive do-dad.
