Pros: | Versatility and precision | Cons: | M42 mount | | Much better than extension tubes IMHO
I inherited this from my dad and have used it a lot before acquiring a Bellows
Incredibly versatile and smooth as silk
PS. found the original sales note in Yen, my dad paid the equivalent to $9 for it.

Pros: | Small. | Cons: | Limited throw - it's not a bellows. | | This adjustable extension tube is pretty handy. Reading though some Pentax literature I saw that one of the intended uses of this is to add focusing to reverse-mounted lenses. It's compact enough to be easily carried, and has a useful, but limited range. The build quality is excellent. I typically use this on a 135mm or 50mm. It's particularly useful on the 135.

Pros: | Focuses enlarger lenses | Cons: | Difficult to find | | I had to spend rather more to get mine, but it has enebled me to use lenses at distances none of my bellows will get down to. It's also much less clumbersome than the bellows, but only has a limited range of extensions it can introduce.
NB This should be listed under the genuine Pentax extensions. It's not a third party model.

Pros: | Very nice for old lenses with long minimum focus distances. | Cons: | Have to insert between camera and lens | | Very handy accessory. Turns 135mm into a close focusing lens -very nice. Also can go between bellows and DSLR to prevent bumping on the flash hood.
