Pros: very nice
Cons: only for the limited?

The improved design is deeper of the interior, it holds the lenses better but you still need to be careful not to fall all the lenses.

I can fit it with my DA15+FA35+DA40XS+TKM50/1.4
It also fitted F35-70, DA18-55, sigma30/1.4 into it.
But the 55mm+ filter size lenses are hard to fit.

Pros: Rigid, good fit for Limiteds, smallish like the Ltds, good padding
Cons: strap is poor, no method to secure the lenses once lid is open

I waited to review this case until I had a chance to really use it in the field. I got it as a Christmas present and have now had it on vacation with me nearly a week. Overall, an excellent addition to the DA Limited line. Semi-rigid with nice dividers to separate the lenses. Will fit the FA primes (have seen someone else with an FA28 in theirs) like my FA50/1.4. The strap that ships with it is narrow, short, and has mediocre hardware. The lenses sit in a tray once the lid is opened without anything to retain them. Given that this is a field tool and comes with strap attachments points the only safe way to open it IMHO as it ships is flat on a firm surface. I added 4in long Velcro hook strips by securing one end to the side of the case, wrapping the rest around the barrel of the lens, and then rolling the lens into the case thereby securing the other end to the case itself. This arrangement has the added benefit of securing the lid/case top by the velcro hooks thereby making accidental opening of the top/lid impossible with the velcro in place. The Velcro cost me $5 for a 5ft roll - come on Pentax - ship the case with 5 strips as a part of the case. They are moveable and therefore support multiple configurations of the case. The fact that the case interior is made of material that very firmly attaches to Velcro Hook side material is a huge plus IMHO for this case.
