Pros: | Aids manual focus, diopter adjustable | Cons: | Protrudes, looks a bit fragile | | A much more effective manual focus aid than the O-ME53 eyecup. The latter simply does not have sufficient magnification (1.2x) to sharply focus tricky lenses like a 500mm mirror. A necessity with my K200D (no Live View) and legacy manual glass. The FB allows you to get focus dialed, then flip up the eyepiece for composition. Brilliant. My only concern is that it sticks out prominently from the back of the camera and isn't exactly robust in construction. I can see it breaking off if the camera is handled roughly. This is one aspect that might make the O-ME53 a better choice for tough going.

Pros: | Light, snug fit, diopter adjustment. | Cons: | No eyecup to block side light. | | Convenient and comes in a dedicated semi-hard pouch. I just wish it had a big round cup to block light hitting your eye.
Great to have if you're using manual lenses on the plain matte screen of a DSLR or AF film body.

Pros: | Good optics and versatility | Cons: | Plastic build and adds bulk | | This clip on magnifier replaces the stock rubber viewfinder clip and adds functionality. The diopter adjustment on the magnifier FB is excellent and much better than the click-stop adjustment of the stock unit. The magnifier flips up to give a full view so you never really have to remove it. Very useful for astrophotography and nature photography requiring precise focusing. Hard to find, but worth it if you can find one!
