Description:

Plain matte focusing screen with circle - suitable especially for longer telephoto lenses (optimal for 400mm+ as well as for super-telephoto mirror lenses 1000mm f11 and 2000mm f13.5 ), also perfect for slower lenses (f3.5 or slower) such as zooms. Recommended also for close-up photography with f4.5 or slower lenses.

Gives plain matte view with circle, with no distraction or blackening elements (as oppose to split screens) when slower lenses is used.

Pros:	Clear, disctraction free view, easy focusing with longer lenses
Cons:	Not usefull for wider lenses

Special purpose scree, I got it to play with recently acquired MX and my SMC 300mm f4 and Komine 400mm 5.6 telephoto lenses this Summer. I was annoyed with split screen for these so I got that SE-20 model. Excellent and highly recommended for all slower and longer lenses. I actually find it quite easy to focus with my SMC-A 50mm 1.2 too - not sure why they didn't recommend it for that.

For telephoto lenses the focusing now is just a breeze ! Especially Komine 400mm 5.6 was giving me headache but now it is a total joy to use - especially in sunny day, one which you would normally use so long lenses, for they need faster shutter speed.

With wide angle lenses this focusing screen is on the other hand completely useless - so keep that in mind.
