Pros: | Price | Cons: | Build Quality | | It does the job at the right price point but as another reviewer said the build quality is a bit flimsy.
When I try to Reverse mount mine for storage it doesn't quite sit right. Looking carefully at it the jaws are little thicker on the reverse mount side (manufacturing defect).
I will clean it up a little with a file and call it good.
Would I buy it again? yes, only because the official Pentax hood is too pricey for what it is.

Pros: | Less expensive than OEM part, fits properly | Cons: | VERY thin material | | This is a bayonet mount hood for the Pentax Q 02 Standard Zoom lens. It costs 1/3 what the Pentax OEM part costs. It fits properly and attaches via the bayonet mount. However, this is the thinnest hood I have ever owned. It flexes every time I put it on or take it off and I fear that it might break if I apply too much gentle pressure. At 1/3 the cost of the Pentax hood it's worth a try. I understand that if you are willing to wait you can order from Hong Kong for around $7-8 which is probably a better option than paying $13 for this from a US shipper.
