Pros: | Well made, good water protection, small, good for the Q | Cons: | Small, no room for anything longer than 105 max | | The 5510 - Explorer 10 should bag is a small case that will accept my K-x + F35-70 but not much else. When I put the 28-105 on the K-x its TIGHT. You can not carry a 2nd lens with this bag despite its looks. The top both snaps shut and has a full zipper, which is nice when you want full protection or want to shift to quick access. The top also has a large overhang that adds to the protection of the main compartment against water intrusion. There are 3 small pockets for items: one on the top flap, on the front of the bag body, and on the inside of the bag top too. Top handle is a nice touch. The back has dual belt loops for wearing the bag and there are loops on either side for attaching exterior lens bags. The bottom line for me is that this bag is bulkier than it needs to be for what it carries and not big enough to carry more than the camera and short-mid tele lens attached.
UPDATE -11/21/12: Now that I have a Q this case is working much better! The main compartment, when divided 60/40, takes the Q + 01 lens vertically while leaving 60% of the main body available for a K lens with adapter. The front main pocket can hold 4 batteries, a remote, and has a pouch/slot the fits like it was made for the 03 fish-eye! The external lid pocket handles extra SD cards, micro fiber clothes, and a lens pen for quick access. The interior lid pocket will handle a filter and step up ring easily. Overall, its become my Q's home in the field. | |
