Pros: | Holds up to 82mm filters, good build quality | Cons: | Open top on sides allows dust and debris into case, not compatible with LowePro | | I recommend this with some cautions.
Tamrac makes good quality products and this is no exception. Well-padded and roomy, officially stores 5 filters but 2-3 more can be stored if they are screwed onto each other in the padded slots. It has a belt attachment paddle that is well secured and unlikely to accidentally come loose. The cover flap has a very wide velcro strip and is also unlikely to be accidentally pulled off.
I would have given a higher rating if the case did a better job of sealing out dust, dirt, moisture, etc. The fold over flap doesn't do the job adequately.
Also, unfortunately the paddle on the back is far too wide to use with any LowePro SlipLock attachment points. | |
