Pros: Well constructed, superbly organized, comfortable, ideal for travel, light weight
Cons: None

Thank you Pentax forums! I have been searching for the right backpack for over a year. A former Infantry officer - I want to a pack that minimizes weight, optimizes functionality and will protect my gear while handling abuse in the field.

The Pentax Forums in-depth review prompted me to order this bag!

My two standard camera bags are Domke shoulder bags; an F-5xb for travelling light and a F-4AF when I carry my camera with grip, 5 primes, 2 flashes, radio trigger, filters, diffusers, cleaning supplies, light meter, WB cards and more. The F-5xb is great for street photography. The F-4AF for event shooting. Neither is well suited for travel or for use as a day pack.

Trying to find a bag that works well with 5 Limited’s and a D FA 100 Macro WR is not an easy task. Most bags are built for bigger lenses. This one lets me carry everything and more. All 5 HD DA Limited lenses, the D FA 100, camera, flash, and accessories fit in this bag with the largest lens pouch is still empty. I travel with an iPad Air 2 and have been able to also stuff a light jacket in the pack, a spare shirt, socks and underwear in the 15" laptop compartment.

The Perception Pro is light, superbly comfortable, well organized and exceptionally functional. If you have a stack of pancakes and an APS-C camera body - this is the bag for you!
