Pros: | Light, Sturdy, Versatile | Cons: | | | I bought this new directly from the importer at a great price. Effectively, I got the Carbon Fibre version for the price of alloy. I paired this with the Vanguard BBH-200 magnesium alloy ball-head. I bought it to replace a cheaper, aluminium alloy tripod that itself replaced my old wooden tripod which was over 40 years old and finally gave way a few years ago.
I love this tripod! It has a similar design to the very popular Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod with the fully adjustable swing boom arm. This allows for a huge versatility with all types of photography, but especially allowing low angled shots for landscape and macro.
I don't have any cons to report as yet - I will update if/when any become apparent but it is an extremely well built unit, solid yet light. Worth a look if you want a quality unit for a lot less than some big name competitors.
