Pros: | extension range | Cons: | No auto aperture | | My Helios set appear to be the same as these, but come in PK mount rather than M42.
They are double extension so they extend to about twice as long as my other sets.
My Paragon set have an auto aperture linkage (one of the guide bars rotes to transmit the mechanical stop down), which has been something I've found useful not available with these but that's the price of the extra extension I guess.

Pros: | Double rail bellows movement, adjustable tripod mount, sturdy build ... | Cons: | M42 mount, maybe ... but that's not really a "con" for me | | Bonjour,
This is a "rainy day" project item that I purchased at my local thrift store for very little. Had to use a Google search to discover the manufacturer of this "Made in USSR" bellows.
Build seems quite substantial and of good quality. Movement of the various adjustment rail wheels seems tight and accurate. Looking forward to finding some time to really test out this bellows ... sample images may come later when that rainy day arrives! Salut, John le Frog | |
