Pros: | Quality, stability, balance, three dimensional movement | Cons: | 3.15lb weight | | The Wimberley WH200 gimbal head is a stellar, quality, high-performing piece of gear that does exactly what it's supposed to do. If you have the cash to buy this, you won't regret it for a moment.
I've written a review in another part of the Forum, complete with photos of the setup: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/22-pentax-camera-field-accessories/303212-wimberley-wow.html

Pros: | Design. Balance. Quality. Ease of use. Great customer support. | Cons: | Price. Size. Best with IF prime. | | This is a great piece of engineering work in tripod head design. It will relief your arms, but would also cost you an arm!
I use this Gimbal Head with a current Sigma 50-500mm/4.5-6.3 zoom, an impossible-to-balance vintage Pentax MF 135-600/6.3 zoom and a monstrous Russian medium format 1000mm/11 mirror lens.
It is definitely designed with IF (Internal Focus) AF (Auto Focus) telephoto prime in mind. The operational is flawless with these lenses as their CG doesn't change, and no manual input on the lens barrel is needed. It still handle long zoom (which change CG and add lateral movement as you zoom) admirably. When use with my vintage MF huge telephotos lenses, it lost some of the prime design advantage, but still offer handling ease which few other tripod heads can.
Their camera & lens plates are also well designed and made. I can use them with my odd medium format camers as the lens plates have Anti-Twist Nubs to "claw" on the side. These plates also work well with Acratech & RRS ballheads. Wimberely price is steep and it is not easy to find any second hand. Once you started to use it, then you will understand why. Wimberley WH200 make the impossible-to-balance Takumar SMC135-600/6.3 zoom managable

Pros: | The best panoramic tripod head there is! | Cons: | Weighs a bit more than 'normal' heads! | | This US-made tripod head is like riding in a Rolls Royce, and then some! Supersmooth operation, both in rotation, and in pitch! Weighs like a Arco-SWISS ball head, but cheaper, and equally superb! But your tripod has to be perfectly level, to use this head to its limit. Not been there, yet!
