Big discounts on cameras and lenses continue

Black Friday is long gone, but holiday promotional savings on Pentax cameras and lenses continue— something that we hadn't seen in prior years.  In fact, nearly every Pentax lens and camera is still on sale in the US, and some prices are actually lower now than they were at the end of November.  Furthermore, very few discrepancies in pricing remain between the "big two" US Pentax retailers.  The only deals that are truly gone are those that were offered by the Pentax web store.

This extension of the rebates is likely an adaptation to the changes occurring in the camera market, as many other manufacturers seem to be doing the same.  The majority of the deals listed in this post are valid through December 31st only.

In addition to fantastic pricing on the K-50, K-5 IIs, and K-3, a few interesting price drops include:

• $485 for the Pentax K-S1 (a $264 savings over the launch price)
• $4296 for the Pentax 645D
• $200-300 off 645 system lenses
