The Pentax K-3 III was released in April 2021 with a retail price of US$1999 at it's introduction. This camera, despite being an APS-C crop body, is arguably the current flagship of the Pentax lineup. This is thanks to the 25.7 megapixel back-illuminated APS-C sensor, the most advanced autofocus system in any Pentax to date, the class-leading optical viewfinder, the redesigned software interface, and the newest Prime V processor. All of these features led to the highest launch price of any Pentax DSLR, and Pentaxians have been eagerly awaiting some discounts on this model.

Up until recently, anyone looking to get the battery grip would have been looking at paying almost $2,300 for the combo.

Finally, for those looking for even more savings, Ricoh Imaging USA has refurbished K-3 III cameras for $1,599.95 in black! They also have open box K-3 III Silver models at $1,799.95. Open box items from Ricoh come with the full one year manufacturer's limited warranty, and refurbished products come with a 90 day warranty with the same terms. Since these are refurbished and open box items, quantities may be limited, so act fast to secure these great deals.
