Pentax K-3 Firmware v1.40 Released
Optimizes support for the new D FA* 50mm lens

Ricoh Imaging has just released a new firmware update for the Pentax K-3. The version 1.40 update optimizes support for the recently-released D FA* 50mm F1.4 premium prime.
In addition, the update includes the usual minor stability fixes and as always, the contents of all previously-released updates
Download the K-3 firmware from the official Pentax firmware site.
Note that no update is needed for the Pentax K-3 II.

- Improved stability for general performance.
*Contents of [Version 1.30] and earlier version will be also updated.
A similar update was released for the K-1 and KP today.

Ricoh Imaging has just released the first firmware update for the Pentax K-1 Mark II. This update simply corrects undisclosed stability issues (a.k.a minor bugs).

Pentax K-1 Firmware v1.43 Released
Stability improvement over prior firmware

Ricoh Imaging has just released a new firmware update for the Pentax K-1. This update addresses an stability issue introduced in the prior firmware update, v1.42, which itself patched an issue from the previous firmware version.
There are no new features in this firmware update, but as always, it includes the contents of all previous updates (many of which were feature-enhancing). We therefore recommend the update for all current K-1 users.
