Astrophotography Photo Contest Winners

Announcing the winners of our October 2013 contest

For October 2013 the contest theme was Astrophotography, perhaps a bit more narrow than often, but nevertheless 81 users submitted their entries.

We're happy to announce the winner of this contest, TimStark from Switzerland with this photo titled "Mystic Lake":

The winning photo was shot with shot with a Pentax K-5 and a Pentax-DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL WR lens.

Our runners-up were forum member Dr-who from Canada on second place with "Orion" (K-5IIs with an Orion 8 telescope) and mikeSF from USA in third place with "Under the Milky Way" (K-5 with FA 31mm Limited).
