Ricoh's latest waterproof compact, the WG-30w, has recently hit the shelves in the US. This rugged camera, which is based on the Pentax Optio WG-2, is among the first Pentax/Ricoh cameras to feature built-in Wi-Fi. This functionality allows the camera to be wirelessly controlled using a smartphone. A version without the Wi-Fi (WG-30) will also be available in select other markets.
To learn more about the Ricoh WG-30, check out the press release or see its specifications.
In the US, a $30 instant rebate is already in effect. This reduces the price of the camera to $246.95. You can order it now at B&H, Adorama. The camera is not yet available at the Pentax Web Store or Amazon.
