Today we are happy to present our in-depth review of the HD Pentax-DA* 16-50mm F2.8 ED PLM AW lens- Pentax's new pro-grade walkaround lens for APS-C.
This lens is a welcome upgrade of the original version, released in 2007. The new lens features a completely new optical and mechanical design, but its main point of appeal is without a doubt the use of a PLM motor for autofocus, which promises significant improvements in terms of both reliability and focus speed.
