An advanced yet affordable full-featured flash

Pentax flashes, especially the newly-designed AF 360 FGZ II and AF 540 FGZ II, have long been known for offering an array of advanced features and being fully compatible with the latest camera models. There are also plenty of advanced flashes from third-party manufacturers, and some of these pack even more features and while continuing to deliver full automation and compatibility with current standards.
In today's in-depth review, we take a close look at the Metz 52 AF-1, an affordable yet full-featured digital flash with a power rating just below that of the Pentax AF 540 FGZ II. The Metz 52 retails for just $299 USD, or about $130 less than its Pentax-branded competitor.
