High-performance full frame telephoto zoom lens
By bdery in Review Announcements on Jun 22, 2017
We reviewed the HD Pentax-D FA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6 ED DC AW on APS-C back in 2015, before the launch of the Pentax K-1 full frame camera. Today we are proud to present an updated version of this review, presenting a defailed performance analysis on full frame. This completes our series of reviews of the current D FA zoom lineup.
The 150-450mm is currently the longest zoom available new for Pentax DSLRs, and has the second longest focal length overall. It has a variable aperture, an extremely rugged, all weather design, a 3x zoom range and an impressive array of external controls. We had been impressed by the lens's capabilities on APS-C. Read our review to find out how this new lens fared in our full frame tests!
