Easy access to the threads you care about!

We've recently improved our notification system to also include the number of new, unread subscribed threads that members have on the forum.  As soon as a subscribed thread is updated, you will receive a notification in the notifications dropdown area, similar to the one shown for private messages and new picture comments.

Users may use our thread subscription system to keep track of threads they are interested in.  Notifications of updates can be then either shown on the site, or sent to you direction via e-mail.

Pentax Auto 110 Lens Database

Auto 110 lenses and teleconverters added to our lens database

In our effort to maintain the most comprehensive and detailed genuine Pentax Lens Database on the Internet, we've recently made our database complete by adding Pentax Auto 110 primes, zooms, and teleconverters.

The Auto-110 system is a small series of two ultra-compacy film bodies and six lenses designed for 110 film.  This type of film is unfortunately no longer in production, and therefore very difficult to find.

In the near future, we also plan on adding the Auto-110 cameras to our Pentax camera database!

M42 Screwmount Camera Database Coming!

Spotmatic & other screwmount cameras soon to be in our lens review database

Thanks to efforts by forum member smc and administrator Ole, we've started work on a database of all Pentax m42 screwmount bodies, including the Pentax Spotmatic, ES, Tower, and others!  We hope to have it ready by the end of November, but we need your help! If you own any screwmount bodies that might still be missing photos or technical data, please check out the Pentax Screwmount Database forum thread!

Current work on the M42 Camera Database can be viewed in our Pentax M42 Camera Repository. Once complete, the information will be fully integrated with the remainder of the site.

Photos from our Exclusive Gallery, and Monthly Contest Winners

In an effort to further integrate our Pentax user photo gallery with the rest of the site, and to bring you some fantastic photos for your viewing pleasure, we've added a small filmstrip to the bottom of the forum home page for registered users.  This filmstrip will display random photos from our Exclusive Photo Gallery, as well as winning entries from our Monthly Photo Contests.

We hope you enjoy viewing these photos! If the filmstrip ever gets in your way, feel free to collapse it, or disable it completely in your profile options.

We would also like to invite all forum members to participate in our monthly photo contests as well as in the Exclusive Gallery! If you are not yet familiar with our site, please be aware that there is an official photo contest are held each month by the site staff. The theme is unique and changes each month. At the end of the month, users vote on the winner, and the top two photos are recognized. Furthermore, the winner is showcased in our Premier gallery, and, depending on sponsors, prizes may be awarded!
