New Macro and General Photography Forums

Two additions to our Photography section

We're as much a site about cameras as we are about the art of photography.  Therefore, today we're expanding our Photography discussion section by adding two new forums: Macro Photography and General Photography.

Added by popular request, the new Macro Photography forum is the place to talk about all things macro, such as technique, lenses, accessories, and of course your macro photos and close-ups.

The new General Photography forum will serve as a convenient "catch-all" category and be the place to discuss any photographic topics that don't fit into our other forums, such as:

• External tutorials and guides
• Magazines, newspapers, and books
• Stores and sources for equipment
• Image hosting sites and portfolios
• Political issues surrounding photography
• Computer questions related to photography

To simplify things, the General Photography forum is absorbing Photographic Tutorials and Guides, whcih wasn't seeing much use alongside our local Article database.

• Flashes, Lighting, and Studio
• Digital Processing, Software, and Printing
• Video and HDSLRs
• Film Processing, Scanning, and Darkroom
• Gatherings, Photo Tips, and Groups
