Pentax K-3 III eBook Version 1.5 Released

Today we are happy to announce our fifth update to the Pentax K-3 Mark III: The Ultimate Guide eBook. As the name implies, this eBook is a comprehensive guide to help you get the most out of your K-3 III camera. It focuses on practical use cases and real-word tips, and is thus the perfect supplement to the verbose owner's manual.

A key highlight of this update is that we have improved the illustrations by adding arrows, labels, and side-by-side menu screenshots to illustrate exactly how to navigate to some of the camera's less intuitive settings. We have also added new sections and tips related to focusing, and of couse added samples of the new Harubeni (Spring) custom image mode.

Focusing
- Added a section about back button autofocus.
- Added a section about focus point selection in vertical and horizontal orientations
- Clarified information about the selection of the focus point with manual focus lenses due to a behavior change with new firmware versions.
Image Capture
- Added samples from, and recommendations for, the new Custom Image mode Harubeni
Layout
- Improved or added screen captures to highlight how to access settings in menus
- Streamlined general layout, image sizing, and positioning.
