Latest Review Posted | Ricoh Theta V I bought the Theta V when there was a discount available, because I was curious about its potential to provide very different views of the world. It does that very successfully, but personally I'm not really into what this camera is best for, and that's selfies. There's ways to take photos with the Theta without being in the photo, but it you take a casual shot hand held, you will definitely be in the original 360 degree image or video. So for folks who want a way to capture the scene in one image that says "here's me and here's where I am" you can do it instantly without having to put the subject behind you where you can't see it. On the other hand, if you want to see your pout before you press the shutter release, it's probably easier to stick to a phone. :)
I'll add more to the review later.

It can be tough not to be in the photo, unless you use a tripod and remote trigger by wifi.
