I moved to a K-30 from a K-01 just a few weeks ago.
I always had my eyes on the K-30 since it was launched last year but I could not afford it so had to buy a K-01.
I had moved from film to digital when I bought the K-01 so I really missed the viewfinder and I also wasn't very fond of its design.
A few weeks ago I finally got the chance to buy a K-30 because of the price drop and luckily my mum agreed to lend me the money for it. THANKS MUM! (I do have to pay her back though)
I only had 4 reasons why I wanted to buy the K-30.
1. I was in love with its design on the first sight. Every time I looked at it, it made my heart beat faster! It was just too sexy!!!
2. It had the same sensor as the K-5 and overall had better specs at a cheaper price.
3. The weather sealing was a must for me! I still need to buy a WR lens before I can take full advantage of the camera. But at-least in the future I wont have to worry about the body getting damaged so easily.
4. And lastly a deal-breaker for me was the viewfinder. Coming from Film cameras, I just could not get use to viewing the screen all the time on the K-01. I only use manual focus lenses, so it has made my life much more easier.
I dont think you can find a better camera than the K-30 for the price you are paying. Especially as they have become much more cheaper as the K-50 is rolling out. (Same reason why I was able to buy it) And I can guarantee you wont be disappointed with it as its an excellent performer and... |
