Pros: | Tiny, amazingly cute, very bright viewfinder, timer | Cons: | Film availability and processing costs | | I got an Auto 110 Super in a job lot with some other Pentax 110 gear, and decided to keep it as my test body for Pentax 110 lenses - not to take photos, to be honest, since I use a micro 4/3 body for that, but to make sure that lenses fit properly and focus correctly.
Like the Auto 110 this has to be the brightest viewfinder I've seen on anything smaller than 35mm, and has a really nice ergonomic feel. The differences from the Auto 110 are basically built-in self-timer and lock and I believe some added functionality in metering - I can't actually test this properly since good 110 film is expensive and good processors are now as rare as unicorns and probably even more mythical.
Having now seen at least 6 or 7 of these little cameras (the others were the non-super model) I have to say that they are possibly the most reliable SLRs I've come across from this era - I think only one was DOA and unfixable, with one other needing battery contacts cleaning but OK once that was taken care of. That's a much better average than other cameras from the 70s!
Auto 110 Super with 24mm lens next to the "huge" 70mm lens.

Pros: | Small, fun and complete system | Cons: | hard to find places to develop 110 film | | Great and fun little system that includes everything you will ever need.
My only complains:
- The winder... the door is very flimsy and can easily brake... main reason for why is almost impossible to find a winder in perfect condition.
- The 100 film... the good news is that the guys from lomography are still making this film type (at least at the date I am posting this)... the bad news is that is very hard to find a place where to develop these films - unless you ship them and wait a long time to receive them back.
Other than that, personally I am perfectly happy with this little Pentax system .

Pros: | Just one more correctional note | Cons: | | | I feel the "correctional note" by above reviewer is misleading:
"only to inform the reviewer of the Pentax 110 camera, who believes this was the only SLR for that film format:
there was another 110 SLR camera with a 'fixed' zoom lens too..."
But the reviewer said:
"No other manufacturer had dared to produce an interchangeable lens SLR camera for this format."
Both the Minolta 110 Zoom SLR and the Minolta 110 Zoom SLR MARK II had 'fixed' zoom lenses (NOT interchangeable).
Both the Pentax auto 110 and the Pentax auto 110 super had interchangeable lenses, including a zoom lens.

only to inform the reviewer of the Pentax 110 camera, who believes this was the only SLR for that film format:
there was another 110 SLR camera with a 'fixed' zoom lens too, and a really good one at that as i saw really nice pictures taken with it: minolta110 zoom - Google Search | |
