Description:
The Ricoh WG-5 GPS, successor to the Ricoh WG-4 GPS, is a rugged compact waterproof camera.

Like the WG-4, the camera has shutter priority and USER mode in addition to program and the various scene modes. The WG series mounting system already on the market can be used with the WG-5 GPS as well. It is available for purchase separately.

The camera is waterproof to 14 m (46) feet and shockproof. It is rated to survive a drop from 2.2 m (7.2 ft).

The camrea has a built-in GPS and depth/altitude sensor in connection with a display on the front.

The camera hardware is basically identical to the WG-4. The enhancements are on the software side adding scene-specific optimization of white balance and additional scene modes for underwater shooting. New is "flash" bracketing - the camera can capture an image without flash and one with flash with one push of the shutter button. Also new is the addition of vibrant and reversal film finishing tones.

The Ricoh WG-4 GPS is available in two color schemes: Black with silver trim, and black with orange trim.
