Pros: very rare analogue SLR camera
Cons: aperture and time indication in viewfinder, but not at LCD outside

As teacher of Photography on a private school I'd to buy a lot of cameras - analogue and digital ones for my students.,

Nearly all SLR cameras have been at high production level - especially analogue ones because of their shutter and mirror !!!

No exception for the Ricoh line !!!

++ high reliability

++ 3 P-programs taken from famous xr-x model

++ Spot metering

++ bracketing and AEL-mode

++ big glass prism viewfinder with clear indications

++ a working horse like xr-p and xr-x

++ excellent TTL-measurement

++ all K-lenses usable (M42 with adapter)

+ very beautiful ergonomic plastic covered housing, but hidden alu construction

highly recommended
