Pros: | Blocks stray light, fits, cheap. | Cons: | none..... it's plastic, but so is the genuine Pentax hood | | It does exactly what it is made to do, it blocks stray light. It's cheap, it fits, available and worth the wait if you don't mind waiting 2 weeks for it to ship over from china. That's about all there is to say really.

Pros: | Fits the DAL55-300, works, inexpensive | Cons: | a bit loose | | Reversible and it works to stop the light. It's a bit loose in the mount until clicked in but once its fully seated it does not rattle or come loose on its own. Inexpensive alternative to the 2-3x more expensive Official Pentax hood and operates in the same manner. It has a good bit of letting on it but a black sharpie took care of that quickly.
