Mine has the same problem. "Loose" as in the focussing ring telescopes in and out a little. When this happens, it can't focus at infinity. By pushing back to position, it can autofocus without problem. I'm going to send in for service. Anybody knows why this happens and whether it can be fixed?

Yep I have the same problem. It is adrift and has happened 1 hour ago. It was purchased new this year!
