Is "someone in Quebec" you?

250$ seems like a fair price if the lens is in good shape. I paid a lot less for my F50 f1,7 but that was before the price hikes. And I rather dig the look of the F line, a sort of vintage Star Wars feel...

before you buy it, make sure it is in good working condition. I would say though that it is a good price for an FA50/1.7. it beats the crap out of the more expensive FA50/1.4.

There have been several of the F 50 / 1.7 lenses sold on "that auction site", within the last month or so. They have sold at anywhere from $225 to $275.

I know the feeling. I sold 3 copies of F50/1.7 and a copy of F28/2.8 for about $100 - $130 each .

But I shouldn't be complaining, I bought them for much less

There's no way in hell i'd be selling an FA50/1.7. Now, I just have to find one in this neck of the woods.
