I am pretty sure I have an 85mm hood .. I'll have a look at it and soo what differences they are .... I think I have most of the hoods for all of my Taks .... some are interchangable as the hood length works on a view without vignetting.

Was wondering about a hood for the ST 85 as I have to cut down the stray rays with the potential for issues with the scratch. The only other 58mm filter thread diameter lens I have is the 200 F4 and what do you know the hood fits without vignetting. Looks pretty good as well -and reverses for storage.
The hoods are selling for a fortune, and I need one too, but it's amazing:

I picked up the hood for the 135/200 last week for 2 bucks BIN and 6 shipping.

And the 85 hoods are starting at 20.

Too rich for my blood. I'd rather put that money toward the ultra-wide.

If I didn't have Uncle Sam tax "obligations" from last year, I would be going crazy around now buying stuff.

I'll check it out later.

This weekend, I'm gonna do some serious portrait stuff with the 85.
I'm telling you mate, it's right up your alley.
