Drinking and the internets

My DA 35 2.8 Macro and Kenko 1.5x teleconverter should arrive from B&H next week. Haven't seen a response from the seller of the A 28 2.8 on this forum but expect that to go thru.

I was extremely productive when I got home from the bar last night at 2 am.

In all honesty, I had sold my Tamron 90mm 2.8 Macro and ME, M 50 1.7, K 30 2.8 package a few weeks ago with the intention of buying the DA 35, just hadn't shopped around and really convinced myself to do it. My evil plan is coming together nicely:

K200D
Sigma 10-20
DA 18-55
DA 35 2.8
FA 50 1.4
DA 55-300
1.5x TC

SuperProgram
A 28 2.8
M40 2.8
A 50 1.7
M100 2.8
2X TC

I keep telling myself: Mike, you don't need a K7. Mike, you don't need a K7. Mike, you don't need a K7. Mike, you don't need a K7. Mike, you don't need a K7. Mike, you don't need a K7. We'll see if I can get thru next weekend.

Bodies are not worth changing unless they actually lack something you need.

Go for the glass.

Go for the K-7... seriously.
The K-7 with the DA 35mm Macro is a very versatile combo.

I had a hard time, once the camera budget became substantial, not just blowing it all on some really nice lenses.

My only issue with the K200D is the AF and the fact that it seems to underexpose with several of my lenses. I shoot Av almost exclusively. It is the size and better WR of the K7 that draws me in. I'll be perfectly honest - I'm waiting for the Kx sensor in a more capable body.

For now, I've had my fun buying and selling lenses. The interesting thing RE: lenses vs. bodies is, they dont' depreciate much, so I've been able to try a few and get a feel for both what I like, and what I'll actually use.

Thanks to drinking, and the internet.

And it can't be that far away.

K7 is sweet, K7 with a kx sensor would be sweeter.
