My DA 40 Ltd serial no. is 0018039. I bought it in October 2009 at the grossly inflated price of 500 dollars Canadian. I just had to have it, and it was in my local camera shop, and then it was in my hand. It is worth every penny. Now I'm thinking about accessorizing it with a K-x, although it has breathed new life into my K200D. My wife loves the combo, and is referring to it as "my camera".

The Ltd 40mm is my most used lens in studio for fashion and my 70mm for beauty. Both, brutally sharp.

I was stopped by a lady and a businessman, on separate occassions, when they saw me taking pictures with this DA 40 Limited lens. They both asked what kind of lens is that and what camera is that - lol

It's the second smallest lens I've used. This is the smallest (from someone else's pic):

Is that a pinhole lens?

From a friend that has the DA 40: "I have a zoom I bought but it's heavy and big so I don't take it out much". She carries her purple k-x with the little thing in her bag.
