[langtitle=da]Forskel på Pentax A og M Obektiv?[/langtitle]

Hej.

I would suggest getting the A lens. The optics are probably the same on both, but the difference is in that cameras control of the aperature setting. With the A lens, your K10D will recognize the aperature & adjust metering accordingly. It won't recognized the change in aperature with the M lens.

See here: Pentax K-Mount Lenses Explained

The essential difference is that the A version allows for auto aperture control wile the M doesn't; both lenses are manual focus.

effectively with the A lens you can do everything the same as any modern lens except for no AF.
With the M lens it's a little more complicated than that and I'll leave the explanations for someone else for I suspect I will confuse you

I have both.
Big difference: multi-pattern-metering versus centre-weigth.
Small difference: better coating; tiny bit sharper.
Both little nice lenses, mechanical and optical.
Since I don't like to change body-adjustments all the time I use the m50 in combination
with other m and K lenses when time is not an issue and the A in combination with the
other AE lenses.
