So many lenses so little money!

I've decided to go for a neuw les to complement my Sigma 17-70mm f2.8/4.

I am llokin for another zoom lens going up to 300mm. Wich is best Pentax 55-300 or Sigma70-300 (a lot of sigma models out ther in this range!)

Best bang for buck, best qualitu and best overall choice in your opinins please?!

Comes down to quality ... and in the price range you are looking for ... the Pentax 55-300mm lens is the best of the bunch.

If you were looking for better image quality ... I'd be looking for the Sigma 100-300 f/4 lens ... but it can be a little costly though. Images are simply amazing though.

The 55-300 has very good image quality and is $350. Any better alternative will cost 2-3X.

The DA* 60-250 is my choice. It doesn't qute reach 300mm, but it's faster at a constant f/4 and the image quality is great.

IMO, the 55-300mm isn't worth that much $ by any means. The only reason I haven't sold mine is because of the great price I got it for, and the fact that I just sold my 200mm meaning I would have nothing to cover any focal length above 105mm

(the lens is still good, but not *that good*. Much better than the tammy/sigma equivalents however.)
