lens hood alternatives for DA* 50-135mm

I love this lens but wonder if there are any smaller hood options.

You can probably use most generic 67mm filter hoots, but I doubt they would be of any benefit!

Any 67mm metal tele hood should do. I use one on my EF70-200/4L IS too instead of the oversized hood.

I bought and used an Adorama folding rubber hood that screwed into the filter threads. Unfortunately i had difficulty removing it one time when the rubbber got into thet threads and so have not reinstalled it. I now use the existing plastic hood that came with it. One big plus of the existing hood is that in rain, the hood does an excellent job of keeping rain off the lens. recommend you use the existing hood :-)
