M50mm f/1.7 + Vivitar 2X Macrofocusing TC =

I have had the Vivitar Macrofocusing Teleconverter for ages and not used it a lot, but went out today and put it between my M50 and the K-X. I was surprised by how nice some of the results were. You can get a lot closer than with the 50 on its own. Here are some carnivores (slightly PPd but nothing radical):









You lose two stops of light, but I don't worry too much about shoving up the ISO in the K-X.
