Hood for Pentax-A 24mm/2.8?

Q. for anyone else using this lens on a 35mm film camera - have you been able to find a suitable hood? Any recommendation? Thanks.

The A24/2.8 is the same as the K series version, so use this dedicated hood with a 52mm filter thread:

There is also Nikon screw in hood designed for their 24/2.8 for film. It has 52mm thread. I think it's Nikon HN-3 but I'm not 100%

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I'd love to find that genuine hood.

Phil - is Lens & Shutter still operating in Vancouver? I've found an old reference to them having stock of that lens hood.

Yes the A series standard lenses had their own hood, or you can use the older M or K series version. The A50/1.4, 1.7 & 2.0 used a 49mm hood, the A50/1.2 used a 52mm hood.
