Voigtlander 125/2.5 APO-Lanthar - my LBA

After two weekends with 125/2.5 it looks that it is worth every dollar I spent on it. It is great macro lens at least similar or better than FA 100/2.8 Macro. It is great portrait lens too. It looks that I will stop using FA 100/2.8 and K 135/2.5

Piotr,

Those are great pictures ! Congratulations.

I am considering getting the FA 100 f/2.8 and looking at your photos I am wondering whether I should try to search for a Voigtlander instead. The FA 100 currently is around $500. I am not sure how much a Voigtlander is ... but do you consider the FA100 is value for money - or should I try for the V instead?

Thanks
VAV

In my opinion FA100/2.8 is worth something around 500usd - but Voigtlander is 639usd in cameraquest, so?

Excellent series Piotr. Seems the Voigtlander delivers great results in your hands. It is indeed a lens well worth its monney. I bought mine around 1 month ago and am very happy with it.

wow. considering what OEM is charging for Macro lenses today, those Voigtlanders are easily worth it.

Yea this is a beautiful lens no doubt. Id get one myself but Ive already got the FA 100 and I dont do macro that much so I cant really justify it. Too bad they stopped making more of these.

There are some advertised as being available here:
FOR SALE

Scroll down to the bottom of the page - Pentax KA mount only. Sale price is $639. I cannot authenticate the reliability of the dealer, however, since I have had no dealings there.

$639 is unfortunately past my budget and the cost of my K100D ($530 new) and I just recently got my 90/2.8 Vivitar. Thanks for the info though!

I have ordered my Voigtlander from them and they were reliable. I have ordered the lens and it was delivered within a few days (from California to Switzerland).
